Colonial Acres Nursing Home:

Colonial Acres, located at 10th & Grand Street is a 49 bed, intermediate care facility with a newly opened 15 bed assisted living section. It was opened in 1969 and completed a half-million dollar addition to the facility in 1994. Professional nursing is provided 24 hours a day with physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapy offered. Rescue Squad:

The City of Humboldt and surrounding rural area is served by a 24 hour Basic Life Support Ambulance Squad, with two modern well-equipped units. Humboldt Volunteer Rescue was one of the first ambulance squads in the state to be licensed as advanced life support with Automatic Defibrillation over 10 years ago. Which it still maintains today. The Humboldt Fire Department also has certified Emergency Medical Technicians and First Responders with rescue and medical equipment for assistance.
