Humboldt Shares Inc., is a "not for profit" tax exempt corporation. This corporation was created to facilitate and enhance economic development and civic pride in the community. To become a voting member, shares can be purchased for $100 per share.  Each share owned equals one vote.  The use of money generated from the sale of shares is determined by the shareholders.
